Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for a Driver & Safety Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely operating trucks, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and company policies. Daily tasks include transporting goods efficiently, conducting routine inspections of the vehicle, and maintaining accurate records of trips. As a Safety Officer, the role also involves monitoring safety compliance, providing safety training, and addressing any safety concerns within the workplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating trucks and possession of a valid CDL Class A license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of truck safety procedures and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in safety management or a related role is a plus.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualifications preferred.
