Responsibilities Authorities
- Fabricate, install, and assemble HVAC ducting systems as per drawings.
- Install GI ducts, flexible ducts, and insulation materials.
- Read and interpret ducting layouts and shop drawings.
- Carry out duct cutting, bending, and fixing works.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, and support of duct systems.
- Install dampers, diffusers, grills, and access doors.
- Perform sealing of duct joints to prevent air leakage.
- Coordinate with HVAC and electrical teams during installation.
- Fix hangers, supports, and brackets for ducting systems.
- Carry out insulation works for ducts (thermal and acoustic).
- Ensure proper airflow and system efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures and site regulations.
- Perform maintenance and repair of existing duct systems.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Identify and rectify defects or installation issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Support work in confined spaces and ceiling areas safely.
- Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
- Complete work within deadlines and report progress.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness at the work site.
Knowledge Skill And Abilities
Understanding of HVAC ducting systems, materials, and installation standards.
Ability to fabricate, install, and seal ducts with proper alignment and finishing.
Capability to work under site conditions, follow instructions, and maintain safety standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: -
ITI / Trade Certificate in HVAC / Sheet Metal / Ducting works.
Familiarity with duct fabrication tools and equipment.
Basic knowledge of ducting drawings and layouts.
Minimum 35 Years Of Experience In Ducting Installation
