Location: 10th of Ramadan
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage all dyeing operations, ensuring consistent color quality, optimized production efficiency, environmental compliance, and adherence to safety and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day dyeing operations (batch/continuous processes).
- Ensure optimal utilization of dyeing machines and manpower to meet production targets.
- Monitor key dyeing parameters (temperature, pH, time, liquor ratio) to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with the color lab and quality teams to ensure right first-time dyeing.
- Ensure color matching according to customer or standard specifications.
- Approve lab dips and first-batch production before full-scale dyeing.
- Monitor fabric/yarn/garment quality post-dyeing (shade, fastness, softness, evenness).
- Investigate causes of defects or rejections and take corrective actions.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain consistent product quality.
- Supervise and train dyehouse supervisors, operators, and helpers.
- Evaluate team performance and identify training needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Textile Chemistry, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 710 years of experience in textile dyeing (yarn, fabric, or garment).
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of dyeing machinery (e.g., soft flow, jet, jigger, winch, HT-HP).
- Deep technical knowledge of reactive, disperse, acid, and direct dye processes.
- Knowledge of color matching systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic knowledge of QMS, ERP, and production tracking tools is an advantage.
