The Growth Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the company's business. They will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that drive new customer acquisition, increase customer retention, and boost revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices, as well as experience in data analysis and experimentation
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
Set and manage sales targets, budgets, and KPIs for the entire sales department
Recruit, train, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, accountability, and collaboration.
Manage Sales Managers, Account Executives, and other sales staff, setting clear goals and conducting regular performance reviews
Personally lead the charge in identifying and securing major new business opportunities and high-value client accounts
Manage the sales department budget effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment
Work closely with the Operations, Marketing, and Finance departments to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment on pricing and strategy
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior sales leadership role (e.g., Sales Manager, Head of Sales, Sales Director)
Essential: Proven experience and a deep understanding of the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry within Egypt
A quantifiable and verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth
A strong, established professional network of contacts within the Egyptian business community (potential clients, industry leaders, etc.)
