Job Summary:
The E-commerce Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the online business, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, effective inventory management, efficient supply chain logistics, and optimal website functionality. The role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction by optimizing backend processes, analyzing performance data, collaborating cross-functionally, and implementing strategies that drive efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily e-commerce operations including order processing, fulfillment, and returns.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate supply chain and logistics activities with vendors, warehouses, and delivery partners.
- Monitor website performance, functionality, and user experience in coordination with IT teams.
- Analyze operational and sales data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and Customer Service teams to align operational goals with business objectives.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support growth.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and resolving operational issues.
- Establish and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for e-commerce operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration
- E-commerce
- Marketing
- At least 2 years of experience as an E-commerce Operations Manager
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and inventory tools.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
