In this internship theGA SABAP Cluster Substation Automation Junior Engineer executes Digital Control System (DCS) engineering activities for the activities/projects assigned. This role involves the execution of project design activities in line with the Engineering Process. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of design engineering activities/projects assigned.

Job Description

The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Execute the DCS Engineering activities for the projects assigned considering the quality/Cost/ time.
  • Liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team to specify and design the project, whilst meeting the required technical standards.
  • Preparation of all applicable production documentations needed for panels integration.
  • Support team during FAT preparation and conduct internal validation followed by customer FAT to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Demonstrate EHS compliance and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented within the team and setting the example by demonstrating the proper acts and actively observes work conditions and behaviors, giving constructive feedback and celebrating EHS effective prevention.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0 to 1 year experience in substation automation projects.

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Ability to understand/prepare design documents for substation automation projects
  • Ability to prepare substation automation configuration/database
  • Ability and willingness to travel across the region (25%-30%).
  • Knowledge in competitor products is advantage
  • Good understanding of substation automation communication protocols
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
