Ecommerce Fulfilment Supervisor (New Vertical Setup), Dubai, UAE

About the Company

We are an experienced logistics team that manages logistics plans to help clients keep their commitments to end customers. Supported by a global network of agents, we offer clearing and forwarding services for businesses operating across international markets. We are now launching a dedicated ecommerce fulfilment division and are looking for a hands-on supervisor to help set it up and run it from day one.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. You will be the first operations lead for our new ecommerce fulfilment vertical, working closely with management to get the operation up and running, then supervising it day to day. You will build the workflows, organize the warehouse, train the team and make sure our first clients orders go out accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up the operation

• Plan the warehouse layout for receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns
• Create simple, clear SOPs for each fulfilment process
• Help select, set up and configure WMS/inventory tracking tools
• Establish relationships with last-mile couriers and packaging suppliers
• Recruit, train and onboard warehouse staff as the operation grows
• Support onboarding of the first ecommerce clients and integration of their stock and order flows

Running the operation

• Supervise daily fulfilment activities and allocate tasks across shifts
• Track KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch time, inventory accuracy and return rates
• Run regular stock counts and keep inventory records accurate
• Handle day-to-day client communication on order status, exceptions and escalations
• Coordinate with delivery partners to resolve failed or delayed deliveries
• Produce daily and weekly reports for management
• Enforce health, safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Fluent in Hindi and English
• Must be located in UAE, oversea applications can not be entertained
• Experience in warehousing, logistics or ecommerce fulfilment, with at least 1–2 years supervising a team
• Experience setting up or improving a warehouse process, or being part of a new operation launch, is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of WMS, TMS or ERP systems, plus Excel and email
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• Ready to work 6 days a week.
