Job Description

About Starco Holding

Starco Holding is a multi-brand fashion retail and distribution group with over 70 years of experience in the region. The company holds distribution and franchise rights for a portfolio of international fashion brands across Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Cyprus, including US Polo Assn., Benetton, 7 For All Mankind, Façonnable, JW PEI, and Eden Park, among others. The group also operates BEVAVA (bevava.com), a multi-brand fashion e-commerce platform serving the Gulf region.

The Role

Starco Holding is seeking an E-Commerce Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of its Shopify storefronts across the group's portfolio of brands. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring deep expertise in Shopify administration, configuration, integration, and optimization.

The E-Commerce Manager will report directly to the Head of IT and will collaborate closely with the marketing, buying, and retail operations teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Shopify storefronts operate efficiently, scale effectively during seasonal product transitions, and deliver a consistent commercial and brand experience across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate the group's Shopify storefronts, including daily administration, product uploads, content updates, and performance optimization.
  • Execute large-scale product uploads of 5,000 to 10,000 SKUs per season using bulk import tools, CSV-based workflows, and custom automation processes to support rapid catalog turnover.
  • Configure and adjust Shopify themes to support campaigns, product launches, and seasonal updates, including basic customization of sections, landing pages, and layouts when required.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and manage Shopify applications and third-party tools across payments, shipping, inventory management, customer reviews, loyalty, and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain email and SMS marketing flows through Klaviyo, including welcome journeys, abandoned cart sequences, post-purchase communications, customer segmentation, and promotional campaigns.
  • Design and execute structured A/B testing programs across product pages, checkout flows, promotional banners, and email communications, and report on outcomes to inform ongoing optimization.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Claude Code to streamline product onboarding, content generation, reporting, and cross-platform synchronization.
  • Monitor site performance, page load speed, conversion rates, and funnel metrics, and address technical or commercial issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with the buying team on product data requirements, with the marketing team on campaign execution, and with the IT department on larger technical initiatives.
  • Support the launch of new brand storefronts on Shopify, from initial setup through go-live.

Requirements

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify storefronts. Experience limited to other platforms (WooCommerce, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud) will not be considered a substitute.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale product uploads involving thousands of SKUs, including proficiency with tools such as Matrixify, CSV-based workflows, the Shopify bulk editor, and automation scripting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify theme configuration, with the ability to adjust layouts, sections, and landing pages. Familiarity with Liquid, HTML, and CSS is expected; deeper customization skills are a plus but not required.
  • Proven experience integrating and managing Shopify applications and third-party platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including the development of flows, audience segmentation, campaign execution, and A/B testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and analyze structured A/B testing programs.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, particularly in the development of automation workflows (n8n, Zapier, Make, Claude Code, or agent-based platforms) that improve operational efficiency within e-commerce environments.
  • A results-oriented approach with a strong bias toward execution and rapid delivery.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Based in Cairo.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience within fashion or apparel e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience working with Shopify Plus.
  • Experience with headless commerce architectures, including Hydrogen or the Shopify Storefront API.
