Editor

Role Description The Editor role at TechPulse MEA is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Editor will oversee the end-to-end editorial process, including planning content calendars, commissioning and reviewing articles, and ensuring all published materials meet editorial standards and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing and proofreading copy, aligning content with strategic objectives, coordinating with writers, marketers, and clients, and maintaining consistency in tone and messaging across platforms.

The Editor will also monitor industry trends in technology and business within the Middle East and Africa, contribute ideas for new features and formats, and support the refinement of editorial workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong editorial skills, including copyediting, proofreading, and content structuring for digital media.
• Experience developing and executing content strategies that support brand visibility and audience engagement.
• Ability to collaborate with writers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver coherent, high-quality content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with technology and business topics in the Middle East and Africa, and interest in industry trends.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Dubai with remote work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in editorial roles within media, publishing, or content agencies is highly beneficial.
