NEOM Green Hydrogen Company Limited (NGHC)

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is on a mission to make a carbon-free, climate-safe future a reality. We are building the world's largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-efficient solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy. Located in NEOM and supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, NGHC will be integrating up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. NGHC brings together the technology, operational efficiency and know-how of ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM in a joint-venture partnership with over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of hydrogen, energy, renewables and global networks.

POSITION SUMMARY

Environment, Health, Safety , Fire & Security (EHSS) Management lead plays a pivotal role in creating, monitoring and performance stewardship of EHSS compliance to the international, local and lenders requirements. The role demands a seasoned professional with deep expertise in regulatory compliance, arising EHSS risks, Incident analysis from compliance concerns, and stakeholder engagement internally and externally.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Develop and monitor EHSS management system aligned with NGHC processes and activities.
  • Create Implementation Roadmaps with milestones and timelines.
  • Advocate the expertise of various EHSS function SMEs across NGHC departments and ensure the right mapping in NGHC EHSS documentations.
  • Continually review and monitor international references related to EHSS requirements and reflect the required update into NGHC Management systems.
  • Coordinate the framework of MS training matrix in accordance with all NGHC positions.
  • Periodically, analyse the gaps of EHSS Management and communicate proposed actions.
  • Control the access of EHSS management documents and enable single point of truth.
  • Establish and Monitor leading and lagging KPIs and ensure continual improvement.
  • Analyse incidents from MS point of view and track the required actions.
  • Track all activities related to MS creation, reviews, updates, amendments, actions closures.
  • Facilitate inputs and outputs of MS to the IT solutions and enablers

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION and/or QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

High School

Certified Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001

NEBOSH Certification

DESIRED EDUCATION and/or QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree, Certified ISO 45001

MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR JOB ROLE

5 Years in EHSS Fields with

Minimum experience is 20 years in Chemical and Petrochemical Industries

RELATED ASSIGNMENTS

Coordinate in internal/ external audits, MS deign development and monitoring, regulatory and lenders compliance; oversee incidents reporting system and implementation, MS compliance KPIs, EHSS systems updates, and Management system plan-do-check-act effectiveness enhancement.
