A global leader in the chemical manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee safety, health and environmental performance at a key production site. Partnering with regional leadership and cross‑functional teams, this role ensures full regulatory compliance, strengthens site safety systems and cultivates a proactive, prevention‑focused safety culture.

Job Description

  • Lead site EHS programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Drive safety committees, engagement activities and communication efforts that reinforce a strong EHS culture.
  • Manage incident and near‑miss investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain and strengthen safe work procedures, environmental assessments and equipment‑related safety practices.
  • Oversee statutory licensing, regulatory submissions, renewals and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare EHS metrics, incident data and documentation for internal and global reporting.
  • Conduct behavioural audits, hazard inspections and coaching sessions to promote safe work behaviours.
  • Advise site leadership on environmental matters, operational risks and compliance‑driven decision making.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health & Environmental, Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of EHS experience, including at least 2 years in a chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical or FMCG setting.
  • Singapore‑registered Fire Safety Manager with strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing regulations.
  • Experience with ISO 9000 quality systems and established environmental management frameworks.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and collaboration skills; effective in a matrix environment.
  • A detail‑oriented, analytical and reliable professional with the ability to work independently and build strong partnerships across the site.
