Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned area. Each day, you will manage the marketing and sales action plans to achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by proactively leading, developing, and coaching the Marketing and Sales function.


The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Qatar. Main stakeholders are regional division and country leaders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and implementing the marketing and sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area.
  • Leading the definition of the assigned division and area footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model).
  • Overseeing the assigned teams that identify, monitor, and maintain/exceed the sales market price levels and evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
  • Defining key marketing and sales targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
  • Anticipating results and identifying gaps in performance proactively, to take early remedial action and ensure that the targets are achieved in the global markets and drives the growth of the top line in each market.
  • Achieving the assigned order intake, margin, and related objectives for the assigned product portfolio, globally.
  • Driving the evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensures proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions.
  • Defining the systems to monitor clients financial status and anticipating and reporting the changes in typical risk factors to relevant internal partner teams, globally.
  • Ensuring that the relevant processes are established to proactively identify and manage risks related to contract agreements and prices across customers/channels.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes, related tools, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.


What it takes to Run what runs the world

  • 10 -13 years of experience in marketing & sales.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of electrification products & solutions.
  • Degree in Electrical engineering with proven industry experience.
  • Strong skills in team management
  • You are at ease communicating in English, Arabic is a plus
