We are looking for an experienced Electric Vehicle Technician with strong hands-on expertise in EV and hybrid vehicle diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repair of electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Diagnose faults in high-voltage electrical systems, EV batteries, electric motors, inverters, converters, and charging systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify electrical and electronic faults.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and replace defective EV components.
• Perform high-voltage battery inspection, testing, isolation, and maintenance in line with safety procedures.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC charging systems and charging-related faults.
• Troubleshoot vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, ECUs/control modules, CAN bus, and electronic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow workshop safety standards and high-voltage EV safety procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of HV battery systems, electric motors, inverters, converters, and charging systems.
• Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and scanners.
• Good understanding of CAN bus, sensors, wiring diagrams, and vehicle electronic control systems.
• Knowledge of EV high-voltage safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Ability to work independently in a workshop environment.
