Electrical Design Engineer

We're Hiring: Electrical Design Engineer (Medium Voltage)

Join our Engineering team and play a key role in designing medium-voltage (up to 36 kV) switchgear systems for industrial and infrastructure projects. If you're passionate about electrical design, standards compliance, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed electrical designs for MV switchgear, including single line diagrams, wiring schematics, GA drawings, and bills of materials

Select and specify electrical components such as circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, relays, and protection devices

Perform electrical calculations (short-circuit, sizing, protection coordination, etc.)

Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and applicable standards

Collaborate with mechanical, production, and procurement teams to support manufacturing and project execution

Provide engineering support during FAT, installation, and commissioning

Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience in MV switchgear design engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software

Strong knowledge of power system protection, control schemes, and interlocking logic

Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Experience with industrial or utility projects and international standards

Exposure to Aramco projects or major OEM switchgear products is an advantage
