We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead our design team on MEP/electrical projects. You'll manage the full design lifecycle - from concept and calculations to client-facing technical coordination - while mentoring a team of engineers.
What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers on drawings, calculations, and submissions
- Oversee project design, specifications, scheduling, and resourcing
- Provide design support across HT/LT/ELV/ICA electrical services
- Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities (incl. FAT/SAT)
- Review and approve calculation reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
What we're looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Registered PE or LEW
- 5-10 years of relevant design experience (Power Electronics HV/MV/LT/ELV/ICA, schematics & layout, cable assembly design)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office BIM/3D design knowledge a plus
- Strong written and spoken English
- Prior experience in construction project management
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working across engineering, technical, and project teams
- Salary: From S$6,500/month, commensurate with experience
