Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading construction firm with over 500 employees. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement electrical systems for a wide range of commercial and residential projects, ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies to enhance project efficiencies.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure electrical plans align with project goals.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and design standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical equipment during the construction phase.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and other essential engineering calculations.
• Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry, with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and power distribution.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools such as Revit.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
