Job Title: Electrical Engineer.

Job Location: Cairo, Egypt.
Accountabilities:
- Supervise and manage the execution of 132kV/220kV/400kV OHL works at site in line with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and verify design drawings, profiles, and sag-tension calculations before implementation.
- Coordinate with the civil team for foundation readiness and tower erection sequence.
- Ensure tower erection, stringing, and sagging activities are carried out as per method statements and safety procedures.
- Raise RFIs and coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and approvals at every stage.
- Maintain daily progress reports, monitor productivity, and highlight any technical or logistical issues.
- Verify materials and consumables as per approved material submittals (insulators, conductors, fittings, etc.).
- Support in pre-commissioning and commissioning of OHL, including final inspection and punch list clearance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards throughout site activities.
- Coordinate with project controls for progress reporting and schedule updates.
- Prepare as-built documentation, test records, and handover dossiers upon completion.

Education Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Qualification:
- 57 years of professional experience in EHV/HV transmission line projects (132kV and above).
- Hands-on experience in design review, site execution, and commissioning of Overhead Transmission Lines (OHL).
- Prior exposure to utility standards such as DEWA / TRANSCO / SEC / MEW or equivalent (DEWA/TAQA/EWE approvals mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of project execution workflows, HSE standards, and quality assurance procedures in EPC environments.
- Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal design/construction teams.
- UAE / GCC experience preferred
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of OHL components towers, foundations, insulators, conductors (single/twin/quad), earth wire, and OPGW.
- Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings, profiles, sag-tension charts, stringing schedules, and tower schedules.
- Knowledge of tower erection techniques, conductor stringing methods, and line alignment/survey procedures.
- Familiarity with electrical clearances, phase spacing, and line design parameters per IEC/BS/DEWA standards.
- Knowledge of earthing, bonding, and lightning protection systems for transmission lines.
- Ability to prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs for OHL works.
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of OHL including continuity, insulation resistance, and tower earthing tests.
- Understanding of interface management with substations, cable terminations, and protection systems.
