Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer specializing in Medium Voltage systems to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medium voltage electrical systems for various projects throughout the region.
- Design and develop medium voltage electrical systems (1kV to 36kV) for industrial and commercial applications
- Perform electrical calculations and analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency
- Create and review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, contractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and utility requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing medium voltage systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in medium voltage systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with medium voltage systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on medium voltage systems
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical equipment
- Experience with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP
- Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong project management and coordination experience
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian electrical codes and standards
- Familiarity with local utility requirements and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
