We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Designer Engineer to join our Engineering Consultancy Office. The candidate will be responsible for the design, review, and supervision of electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
License/Certification:
- FEWA / EWE License (Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare electrical design drawings (lighting, power, low current, fire alarm systems).
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short circuit analysis.
- Prepare single line diagrams and technical specifications.
Coordination & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers for project requirements and approvals.
Site Support & Supervision:
- Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and issue inspection reports.
- Provide technical support during project execution and solve on-site issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in design and supervision within an engineering consultancy office.
- Familiar with UAE electrical regulations and approval processes.
- Good communication skills and team player.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
