Position: Electrical Estimation and Design Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Estimation and Design Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in LV switchgear solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software, along with the ability to conduct engineering calculations and design control panels. This role requires deep knowledge of international standards, local regulations, and the LV switchgear assembly process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Estimation:
- Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed designs for LV switchgear assemblies.
- Prepare accurate cost estimations for switchgear solutions based on project requirements.
- Engineering Calculations:
- Perform engineering calculations including short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and discrimination studies.
- Ensure designs meet technical requirements and comply with international standards and local regulations.
- Control Panels and Integration:
- Design control panels and integrate digital controllers and BMS (Building Management Systems) as required.
- Ensure seamless integration of components and systems for optimal performance.
- Technical Submittal and Prequalification:
- Compile professional technical submittal files and documentation for project approvals.
- Assist in the prequalification process with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Process Knowledge:
- Have a deep understanding of LV switchgear assembly processes and components.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.
- Software Proficiency:
- Work proficiently with Microsoft Applications and ERP software for project management and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in design and estimation for LV switchgear solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of international standards and local regulations related to LV switchgear.

- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
