We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join a major construction project in the Riyadh region.
The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in electrical quantity surveying and cost management within infrastructure and building projects, with strong exposure to post-contract activities. Candidates with solid pre-contract experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and verify electrical quantity take-offs and measurements.
- Manage variations, claims, and change orders.
- Monitor project costs and budgets and identify potential cost impacts.
- Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor payments.
- Review contract documents and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support commercial and project management teams with cost reporting and forecasting.
- Coordinate with site, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost control.
- Assist in final account preparation and project close-out activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, variation management, and contract administration.
- Preference for candidates with post-contract experience.
- Good understanding of FIDIC and construction contract practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying/cost management tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
