We are looking for an Electrical Inspector with over 5 years of experience in inspecting electrical works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.

What You'll Be Doing
- Inspect electrical installations including LV/MV systems, distribution boards, transformers, generators, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, containment, and associated systems.
- Inspect ELV systems where applicable, including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, and other low-current systems.
- Verify that electrical works comply with approved shop drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, and project requirements.
- Inspect delivered electrical materials and equipment against approved samples, specifications, and submittals.
- Review inspection requests and verify that completed works are ready for inspection.
- Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, functional testing, protection testing, and equipment testing.
- Monitor installation quality and workmanship and identify defective or non-conforming works.
- Raise observations / non-conformance reports where required and follow up corrective actions.
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil, architectural, and other disciplines.
- Monitor site progress and report technical issues, delays, and quality concerns to the Resident Engineer.
- Maintain inspection records, daily reports, checklists, test records, and photographic documentation.
- Verify installation of cables, conduits, cable trays, trunking, panels, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, and electrical equipment.
- Review and verify as-built drawings and installation records.
- Participate in snagging, testing and commissioning, handover, and final inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable authority requirements, project specifications, electrical codes, and health and safety requirements.
- Attend technical and coordination meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties as instructed by the Resident Engineer.
What You Need
- 3 to 5 years of relevant site inspection experience, preferably with an engineering consultancy or construction supervision consultant.
- Experience in building, infrastructure, commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
- Experience with authority requirements and electrical testing/commissioning is highly desirable.
