Role Description The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 1st 6 October. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across production lines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The engineer will perform routine inspections, implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, and respond to breakdowns in coordination with production and maintenance teams. Daily tasks include diagnosing electrical faults, updating maintenance records, supporting equipment upgrades, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position also involves collaborating with other engineering disciplines to optimize plant performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Electricity knowledge, including power distribution, motor control, and industrial automation basics.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, executing, and documenting maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical codes applicable to industrial facilities.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals, and use diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and shifts when required.
• Previous experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy manufacturing industries is an advantage.
