Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Description The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sabah Al Salem. The role involves performing routine and corrective electrical maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical faults, planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting installation, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical systems. The engineer will maintain technical documentation, coordinate with other engineering and operations teams, and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks also involve monitoring equipment performance, proposing improvements, and responding promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity.
• Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to equipment failures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Experience in industrial or facility electrical maintenance is preferred.
