Project: Jurassic Production Facilities 5 (JPF 5), at Umm Niqa, Abdali, North Kuwait.
Require: ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pre-commissioning / commissioning documentations readiness activities for Power generator start up (GTG, EDG) , Sub stations and distributions system)
- Commissioning of all Electrical equipment, functional checks, Start up, troubleshooting and continuous operation and maintenance.
- Preparations of system check list, Operating procedure & operation manual related to electrical equipment.
- Lead a team of Operation and maintenance for Gas turbine & Diesel power generator & associated equipment
- Participate commissioning of Electrical Substation (HV, MV & LV) distribution system along with vendor
- Integrate control system (ESCADA) with CCR & field equipment.
- Electrical equipment and system OEM document collection and preparation of O &M manual
- Prepare and check Electrical Start up commissioning spare list & long-term O & M list
- Prepare JPF 5 Departmental budget for consumables and spares
- Guide the subcontractor in preparing the man hour estimation, work breakdown structure, resources allocation and detailed project schedule.
- Preparation of equipment and material specifications and data sheets.
- Preparation of Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Cable Schedules and Cable Drum Schedules, Interconnection Schedules, Hazardous Area Classification,
- Coordinate with client for the approval of construction drawings like Equipment Lay-outs, Cable Routing and Lay-out Drawings, Cable Trench/Tray Lay-out Drawings, Lighting System Lay-out and Details, Earthing/Lighting System Lay-out and Details, Heat Tracing Lay-out and Details,
- Liaise with client design engineer for the preparation of Relay Coordination and commissioning settings
- Coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of technical data inputs.
- Liaise with vendor for successful erection and commissioning of specialized equipment.
- Create the method statements, test plan and compile the test reports.
- Testing of SCADA control system digital input and output schematics and Substation Auxiliaries system.
- Testing of 11.5KVA /3 KVA/440V switchgear schematic checks.
- Testing of Transformer, CT, PT, ac and dc auxiliary systems.
- Installation, Testing and commissioning Transformer. It includes testing and commissioning of 11kv switchgears, Motor control centers, dry type MV transformers, Generators, Soft Starters for propane compressors Motors, UPS and battery chargers.
- Erection, Testing and commissioning of all PDB, UPS DB, Lighting DB
Qualification/Experience
- BE/B-Tech in Electrical Engineering from reputed engineering college / University
- Project Management knowledge will be an added advantage
- Minimum 10 years related experience and 05 years relevant experience.
- Oil & Gas upstream production facility experience will be an added advantage
- HSE/QA-QC: HSE & Quality documents related to HSE activities, PSSR, check list in upstream production facilities
- Good English language communication skills and ability to liaise with Seniors/Client.
- Working knowledge of MS Office/other relevant software.
- Good teamwork spirit and problem solving.
- Preference for candidates available in Kuwait with transferrable visa (article 18).
