James L Williams Middle East is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Projects team.
This role will support the delivery of complex Data Center projects, ensuring all electrical works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, budget, and project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations
- Ensure materials are ordered in line with project specifications, budget, and schedule
- Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
- Coordinate closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams
- Monitor progress of key MEP areas such as LV rooms, ETS, IDF, Server rooms, etc.
- Support variation management, RFIs, and coordination with QS and Planning teams
- Ensure compliance with QMS, HSE, ISMS, ESTIDAMA / LEED requirements
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with suppliers and manufacturers
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 815 years of relevant MEP construction experience
- Proven experience working on Data Center projects (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and construction codes
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in mission-critical environments
- Experience in material submittals, shop drawing review, and site coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills
