Job Summary
The Electrical Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering all electrical works across large-scale infrastructure projects within the terminal. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with international standards while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative for all electrical project activities and stakeholder coordination.
- Manage project execution plans, including mobilization, logistics, procurement, and timelines.
- Oversee electrical design reviews (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination) and ensure compliance with standards.
- Lead procurement planning and vendor management for electrical equipment and systems.
- Supervise site activities including installation, testing, commissioning, and energization.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, inspection protocols, and documentation processes.
- Drive project planning using tools (Primavera/MS Project), tracking cost, schedule, and performance (EV, SPI, CPI).
- Implement HSE policies, conduct risk assessments, and enforce safety compliance across all activities.
- Manage testing & commissioning processes (MV/HV testing, relay protection, system integration).
- Ensure proper project documentation, including drawings, reports, O&M manuals, and handover packages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical construction/project management
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or logistics projects preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Power systems analysis (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination)
- Electrical design (cable sizing, grounding, lighting systems)
- Experience with switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, MCCs
- ELV systems integration (CCTV, access control, BMS/SCADA)
- Testing & commissioning of MV/HV systems
- Primavera P6 / MS Project
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders
- Capability to handle complex, fast-paced project environments
- Strong planning, risk management, and execution skills
