Responsbilities:

.Develop the annual procurement plan for electrical spare parts and components in alignment with the needs of different departments and the company's production plan.

.Supervise the implementation of the electrical spare parts procurement plan to ensure the availability of required materials on time and support the continuity of operational processes.

.Lead the Electrical Procurement team, distributes tasks, and monitors performance to ensure procurement activities are executed efficiently and within the established timelines.

.Review and approve purchase requests and purchase orders related to electrical components to ensure compliance with approved technical specifications and the requirements of requesting departments.

.Monitor daily procurement activities to ensure timely response to purchase requests from various departments and avoid delays that may affect the production plan.

.Coordinate with the Warehouse and Technical Departments to follow up on incoming shipments and ensure their receipt on schedule and according to the required quality standards.

.Develop and continuously updates a database of approved suppliers for electrical spare parts to ensure diversified and reliable sourcing channels.

.Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and payment and delivery terms, ensuring optimal value for the company while adhering to budget limits.

.Evaluate supplier performance periodically in terms of product quality, delivery timelines, and service level, and takes the necessary actions to improve performance.

.Work on optimizing procurement costs by studying the market and identifying suitable alternatives for electrical materials and components.

.Provide technical support and information related to the specifications of electrical materials and components to the concerned departments.

.Supervise the verification of received supplies against purchase orders and invoices in coordination with the Warehouse Department to ensure accuracy in quantities and quality.

Qualifications

-Expertise in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering principles

-Experience with Electrical Equipment procurement and maintenance

-From 6 to 8 years of experience in same field.

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

-Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools

-Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is a plus
