Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer designs, maintains, and optimizes electrical systems for power generation and distribution. The role ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, manage projects, and implement energy-efficient solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and develop electrical systems for energy generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Oversee regular maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure that all electrical systems and practices meet industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, execute, and manage projects related to electrical system upgrades or installations.
- Analyze and implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and faults in existing systems.
- Develop and enforce safety procedures to protect personnel and equipment.
- Provide expert advice and support to other departments on electrical design and system integration.
- Research and apply new technologies and methods to improve system reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of designs, installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Job Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
