Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and project requirements.

Supervise electrical installation activities on-site, including cable laying, equipment installation, and wiring.

Should be aware of Local Authority Regulation applicable in Abu Dhabi

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Coordinate and oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Verify proper functioning and performance according to specifications.

Identify and resolve electrical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction. Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to implement effective solutions.

Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical work meets design specifications and industry standards.

Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, inspections, and tests. Prepare reports and documentation for project progress and compliance purposes.

Liaise with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate electrical activities with overall project objectives and timelines.

Assess and manage changes to electrical designs, scope, or requirements. Evaluate impacts on cost, schedule, and quality, and communicate effectively with relevant parties.

Provide guidance and support to other electrical staff, contractors, and site personnel. Conduct training sessions on electrical safety, procedures, and best practices as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Awareness to Local Authority Regulation applicable Abu Dhabi

Experience in an engineering consultancy within the UAE is required.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.

Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
