JLW is looking for Site Engineers (Electrical/Mechanical) to join our project team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the engineering office in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, authority submissions, and technical submittals.
- Manage material take-offs, procurement follow-ups, and ensure timely delivery of required items to site.
- Work closely with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for design verification, inspections, and approvals.
- Support QA/QC processes, oversee redline mark-ups, and ensure timely submission of As-Built drawings.
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress updates and work programs for subcontractors.
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors and foremen, ensuring smooth execution of activities within schedule and budget.
- Enforce company HSE and QMS policies, ensuring safe and compliant site practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 35 years of relevant site experience in MEP works.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction drawings, site coordination, and material management.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
