Position Overview

Eosol Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical works for our solar photovoltaic projects in Morocco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, particularly in low voltage (BT) systems within the solar energy industry. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure, adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision and Coordination: Directly supervise and coordinate the work of electrical teams and subcontractors involved in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components and systems for solar PV plants.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure that all electrical installations, including low voltage (BT) systems, cabling, earthing, protection devices, and inverters, are performed in strict accordance with project specifications, design drawings, and relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship and material usage. Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical work.
• Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on-site. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues that may arise during the installation, testing, or operation phases. Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical teams.
• Progress Monitoring: Track the progress of electrical works, ensuring that activities are completed on schedule and within budget. Report on progress, challenges, and potential delays to project management.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, testing results, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on site activities, material consumption, and team performance.
• Resource Management: Assist in the planning and management of electrical materials, tools, and equipment required for the projects. Ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Commissioning Support: Participate in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet performance criteria.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Education: Technical degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably within the solar photovoltaic (FV) or renewable energy sector.
• Technical Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of electrical installations, particularly low voltage (BT) systems.
• Familiarity with solar PV components such as inverters, combiner boxes, DC/AC cabling, transformers, and switchgear.
• Understanding of electrical testing equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations (e.g., IEC standards, local Moroccan electrical codes).
• Supervisory Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage subcontractors, and ensure task completion.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Language: Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is a plus. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous. English proficiency is beneficial.
• Software: Proficiency in using relevant software for project management and reporting is desirable.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work on project sites in various locations across Morocco, potentially under challenging conditions.
