JLW is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our project team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site activities in line with QMS, HSE, and project requirements.
- Coordinate electrical services installation to ensure works are technically correct, safe, and aligned with contract programs.
- Lead and supervise a team of site staff, tradesmen, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
- Ensure the use of latest IFC-approved drawings and maintain accurate redline mark-ups for As-Built documentation.
- Monitor site productivity, manpower distribution, and resource availability as per the Two-Week Look Ahead Program.
- Oversee quality of installations, inspections, and testing in line with project QA/QC plans.
- Prepare daily manpower and progress reports, highlighting achieved works and any delays.
- Liaise with construction managers, engineers, consultants, and QA/QC teams for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
- Promote safety and quality awareness on site, ensuring compliance with company and project HSE plans.
- Provide training, motivation, and guidance to site staff to enhance performance and reduce material wastage.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years of site experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and ELV systems (BMS, CBS, Fire Alarm, Telecom, Security).
- Proven ability to lead site teams and deliver works on time with high quality.
- Familiarity with international, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi codes, standards, and regulations.
- Good understanding of safety, risk analysis, and QA/QC procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
