Job Description

We're currently seeking a skilled and detail-driven Electrical Technical Office Engineer to support our power and infrastructure projects from the design review phase to coordinated execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all incoming project documents from the tender department (design drawings, BOQs, specifications, offers, and final contracts).
  • Provide planning teams with a detailed list of required shop drawings, durations, and dependencies.
  • Perform thorough design reviews and initiate RFIs for any unclear, missing, or conflicting technical issues.
  • Propose value engineering alternatives that maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical calculations across all electrical trades.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of shop drawings, ensuring alignment with procurement submittals and targeting consultant approval (Code B).
  • Collaborate with architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical departments to develop coordination drawings.
  • Support architectural teams with ceiling (looking-up) drawings and ensure technical alignment across departments.
  • Participate in technical meetings when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 35 years of experience in electrical design or technical office roles, preferably within contracting or EPC settings.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, Dialux, and ETAP.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems including power distribution, controls, and code compliance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
