Electrical Technical Support Engineer (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Design substation layouts and control building arrangements for various projects (GIS/AIS).
• Develop electrical work requirements and earthing/lightning protection systems.
• HV/MV/LV Calculate cable routing layouts and sizing for MV/HV power cables.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Respond to non-conformances and prepare installation drawings for site execution
• Design & Review of HV Transmission line (OHTL / UGC)
• Create specifications & BOQs for bulk materials
• Support tendering works (BOQs & technical write up)
• Attending client technical meetings (physically if required)
• Execute site visits if required to support providing missing information

Required Skills and Qualifications

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Design experience with HV Substations minimum 8 years (Layout , equipment arrangement, Cables raceways, Earthing grid, lightning protection )
• Familiar with Autocad / Micro station/ Revit
• Good knowledge of ETAP, / CYMGRD

-Project planning, prioritization, and scheduling to ensure timely design submissions.

-Ability to lead and coordinate small teams of electrical engineers and junior staff.

-Decision-making and problem-solving in complex, multi-disciplinary design scenarios.

Experience
