About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to join our Electrical Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventive, predictive, corrective, troubleshooting, and emergency maintenance activities for the asset's electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, troubleshooting, and emergency maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance procedures and safety standards.

• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems.

• Maintain electrical apparatus, control systems, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), batteries, battery chargers, UPS systems, transformers, and generators.

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing of switchgear, motor control centers, switches, breakers, and other electrical equipment.

• Update equipment maintenance records and MAXIMO logs on a daily basis.

• Perform electrical measurements, troubleshooting, performance testing, and safety-related activities.

• Maintain a clean and safe workshop and plant environment.

• Comply with HSE requirements, safe work practices, and applicable quality and environmental standards.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by the Electrical Engineer.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Training Certificate (Industrial Training Institute).

• High School Diploma.

• 1–2 years of electrical power and desalination plant work experience preferred, or 3–4 years of proven experience in Electrical Technician roles.

• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing of industrial electrical equipment and systems.

• Hands-on experience in electrical measurements, troubleshooting techniques, performance testing, and safety measures.
