Electrical Technician (Oil & Gas)

ITI or Diploma

5+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry is required UAE Experience

. Carry out electrical maintenance, modifications, and installation of various electrical machinery and equipment across all offshore facilities.

. Assist in organizing and preparing the necessary tools and materials required for maintenance activities.

. Possess strong knowledge of the PTW system in the oil and gas industry and ensure correct use of safety equipment and PPEs.

. Follow all relevant occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures and instructions.

. Ensure all relevant operational procedures and instructions are followed in the electrical section so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

. Attend to breakdowns and effect corrective actions, ensuring adherence to procedures & guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.

. Conduct preventive maintenance activities at all plant, camp and communication facilities according to defined schedules to facilitate uninterrupted operations.

. Assist in prepare corresponding daily work schedules to maintain systems & equipment according to work requisitions on priority basis and upon approvals from Supervisor-Electrical ensure timely implementation of daily work order.

. Proficient in English communication and skilled in computer applications.
