Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

Job Objective
Support vehiclelevel testing for reliability tests performed both inhouse and at external test sites. The role is responsible for conducting vehiclelevel tests in accordance with defined test plans and procedures and communicating results to engineering teams to ensure successful validation against the company's requirements.

Functional Responsibilities
- Perform daily activities of the Reliability Test Team.
- Design, develop, and validate vehiclelevel test procedures.
- Follow test plans and conduct test trips according to schedule and budget.
- Coordinate activities with external and inhouse test labs and proving grounds.
- Conduct vehiclelevel testing according to approved plans and procedures.
- Record and analyze data collected during testing.
- Conduct posttest inspections of vehicles and components to identify issues.
- Report test results and communicate issues found during testing.
- Identify corrective actions for issues discovered during testing.
- Validate testing measures and outcomes.
- Work with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to validate component and system performance.

Qualifications
- Preferred Minimum Qualifications, bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred)
Additional Preferences
- Minimum 3 years of automotive reliability testing experience
- Strong ability to analyze data using nCode Glyphworks, MATLAB, or similar tools
- Experience working in crossfunctional product development teams
- Experience with external test labs and broad industry contacts
- Ability to follow oral, written, email, and text instructions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance tools, parts, and materials
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, scopes, meters, and specialized test equipment
