Electrical Testing Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in electrical testing, commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.

• Conduct testing of transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection systems, CTs, PTs, and other electrical equipment.

• Perform insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, transformer testing, and related electrical tests.

• Carry out relay and protection system testing and verification.

• Review electrical drawings, test procedures, and technical specifications.

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and testing issues.

• Prepare detailed test reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.

• Ensure all testing activities comply with applicable international standards, safety requirements, and approved procedures.

• Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders during testing and commissioning activities.

• Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

• Support site activities and provide technical recommendations when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in electrical testing and commissioning.

• Strong hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment and instruments.

• Good knowledge of electrical protection systems and testing procedures.

• Experience with LV, MV, and/or HV electrical systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with relevant international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and NFPA.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Certifications:

• Electrical Testing & Commissioning certifications.

• Protection Relay Testing certification.

• Relevant safety certifications.
