We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, and extensive experience in cable installation and termination works. The candidate should be capable of independently handling site activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of cable trays and rigid conduits.
- Performing cable pulling, cable glanding, and cable terminations for LV systems.
- Conducting cable testing and ensuring proper documentation of results.
- Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Installation and wiring of distribution boards (DBs).
- Reading and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical wiring and system issues.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings and safety standards.
- Coordinating with supervisors and site teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrician in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in cable tray installation, conduit installation, cable pulling, glanding, termination, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring methods.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and layouts.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.
- Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or
- Recognized Electrical Trade Certificate / Practical Training Certificate.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large-scale construction or industrial projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
