Primary purpose of the position:
- Inspect, maintain repair and overhaul electromechanical using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipment.
- Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
- Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and equipment.
- Perform high voltage switching and operate Plant Switch Gear.
- Work safely and cooperatively with co-workers and the public.
- Lead a work party in performing maintenance or repair work.
- Other related incidental work as needed.
- Comply with and practice proper equipment clearance procedures.
- Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environment regulations.
- Responsible for station lockout/tag out procedures as mandated by company policy.
- Apply and implement 5S system in Electrical workshop and working place
Professional & Education Qualification:
- Requires 3 years Electrical diploma education
- Requires minimum 7 years previous experience in the same field
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to priorities workload based upon the plant requirements and objectives
- Good planning skills, coordination skill and follow-up skill
- Be creative and proactive contributor, focused on identifying opportunities to continue improvement
- Experience in high speed, high volume process industry
- Successful track record in task achievement
- Problem solving & total quality skills
- Good understanding of modern lean manufacture technique - SMED, Kaizen 5S, Structured Problem Solving, TPM, Six Sigma etc..
- Good computer skills – ability to manage via computerized data.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Allen Bradley PLC and HMI Programming and troubleshooting.
