Job summary
As an electromechanical engineer, you will play a key role in planning and supervising the implementation of low-current projects, particularly alarm and fire protection projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in alarm and fire-fighting systems, including performing daily routine checks to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and managing the requirements of alarm and fire systems and related systems for new construction projects, including field activities
- Collaborating with executive engineers
- Meeting with project managers and coordinating the delivery of materials used in projects with suppliers
- Coordinating delivery schedules
- Preparing progress reports on work and related matters, focusing on project progress, work status, and costs, and providing information to management
- Managing staff schedules under facility management
- Ensuring the safety of workers on-site by implementing and monitoring safety procedures.
- Supervising the implementation of all devices related to low-current systems, alarm systems, fire-fighting systems, and electromechanical works related to the systems.
- Actively participating to ensure timely execution with high quality.
- Testing and accepting electromechanical devices according to technical specifications, contracts, and industry standards.
- Reviewing system installation drawings.
- Providing technical support to resolve operational and maintenance (O&M) issues during the implementation period.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electromechanics
- 3-5 years & 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Good skills in using CAD and REVIT software
- Good skills in using Microsoft Office programs
- Good skills in using project management software
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of technical drawings and plans
- Proficient in all technical electrical work on-site and in the office
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills
