Role Description:

The Electromechanical Engineer will work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, supporting the design, coordination, and implementation of integrated mechanical and electrical systems across HVAC, firefighting, electrical, and plumbing works. Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, preparing calculations, and ensuring electromechanical designs comply with project specifications, codes, and standards. The role involves supervising installation activities, conducting site inspections, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges. The Electromechanical Engineer will also assist in preparing technical reports, material submittals, and documentation, and will participate in testing, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering for power distribution, control systems, and low-current solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering and Electromechanics skills for integrated MEP system design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting technical data, reviewing drawings, and solving complex electromechanical problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in MEP contracting, building services, or construction projects, preferably within HVAC, firefighting, or plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with relevant international and local codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, HVAC standards, electrical codes).
• Proficiency with engineering and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and MS Office.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and manage multiple tasks within project deadlines.
