MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Perform electronic maintenance and fault-finding duties by performing electronic maintenance and fault- finding duties, tests electronics units, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
- Identifies and resolves equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- Provides user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades and enhancement.
- Responsible for the efficient and safe methods of work in the port and around workshops.
- Provides servicing and repairing port ship to shore cranes, Rubber tyres gantry cranes and rail mounted gantry cranes and associated equipment.
