Qualifications And Competencies
- Associates Art Degree or equivalent; 4 year BA or BS Degree preferred
- Fluent English language capacity
- Prior experience working in a daycare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled with the understandings of child safety and responsibility

ES Principal or Associate Principal
Performance Responsibilities
- Understands early childhood development stages and is able to create daily plans that support infant and toddler's physical, emotional, and social needs through nurturing, age-appropriate care.
- Assists with classroom setup, preparation of materials, and organization to support planned learning activities.
- Attentive, reliable, and proactive in following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-supervised daycare environment at all times
- Supports consistent routines while remaining flexible to meet individual children's needs.
- Assists with toileting, diapering, feeding, and transitions in a respectful, developmentally appropriate manner in accordance with AIS-R's child safeguarding policies.
- Effectively communicates with young children, parents, and colleagues with warmth, patience, and clarity while maintaining professionalism.
- Builds trusting relationships with families by sharing daily updates, observations, and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Terms Of Employment
Salary will be assigned from the Daycare Salary Schedule; 190 day contract.
Classification: Support Staff
Working Hours: 7:50am - 4:40pm (5:10pm on Tuesdays)
Learning And Growth
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with school policy by the designated supervisor.
