A well-established
international elementary school in Kuwait is seeking a
qualified and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join its team from
August 2026.
This role is ideal for an educator experienced in the
American curriculum, who is passionate about child-centred learning and keen to work in a culturally rich, well-supported international environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach elementary students using an American standards-based curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across core subjects
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policy
- Support students academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate closely with grade-level teams, specialists, and leadership
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
Applicants should:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. BEd, PGCE, US teaching licence, or equivalent)
- Hold a degree aligned with Elementary / Primary Education
- Have experience teaching within an American curriculum framework
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and student-centred practice
- Be adaptable, collaborative, and committed to professional development
- International or bilingual school experience is an advantage, but not essential
