JOB PURPOSE:
Carry out Elevator & Escalator Inspection and prepare applicable reports efficiently, effectively and safely in conformity with Company's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), International relevant standards (ASME/BS-EN and applicable Aramco work instructions/Guidelines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Planning & Execution:
- Obtain Sales Order/Job Allocation from Supervisor and review the scope of job and verify applicable Elevator & Escalator Inspection standard and validity of Aramco certification Card, Technical/HSE Certificates.
- Co-ordinate with Technician/Store in charge to arrange the Elevator & Escalator Inspection equipment and verify the calibration status of applicable equipment.
- Follow Journey management instructions.
- Proceed to work site by following HSE requirement.
- Carry out the Elevator & Escalator Inspection or related work assigned by supervisor in line with the Company's work instructions, International relevant standards (ASME/BS-EN and applicable Aramco work instructions/Guidelines.
- Co-ordinate with customer's representative at the work site to receive work orders/instructions on Elevator & Escalator Inspection to be performed.
- Perform Elevator & Escalator Inspection or related job in a safe and efficient manner for self and other crewmembers.
- Prepare Elevator & Escalator Inspection reports immediately upon completion of Elevator & Escalator Inspection in the approved and applicable format/QR System. Reports should be legible, complete and to be verified by the Elevator & Escalator Inspection Technical reviewer prior to submitting to customers where applicable.
- Submission of completed reports, time sheets, completion certificates and other related documents to customer representative at site/office and obtain signature before leaving the location, wherever applicable and handover the same immediately to the office for further processing.
- Keep a good communication with client's personnel who are in-charge at all times.
- Carry up-dated International Standards & Work Instructions all the time while performing Elevator & Escalator Inspection for cross checking.
- Takes the ownership of the job and sees it through from start to finish.
- Contribute suggestions, bring new ideas to improve quality, look for ways to save Company money and work sincerely and up to the satisfaction of customers.
- Ensure that loading/offloading, movements of equipment at the work site is done properly, safely and carefully.
- Adhere to designated work/leave cycle which is subject to change by the Company to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and keep Elevator & Escalator Inspection equipment in good condition.
- Guide and provide training to Helpers and Asst. Inspectors assigned to you in line with CDP procedures/NFCTP.
- Handover to reliever before changing location or going on leave all that is done as a strict basis with proper documentation.
- Use only company approved reporting formats/Application, don't make any modification without approval and keep record of all the Elevator & Escalator Inspection reports.
- Report discrepancies, damages or such other malfunctions of equipment to the Elevator & Escalator Inspection Supervisor/Elevator & Escalator Inspection Superintendent as and when noticed.
- Educate customers on latest Elevator & Escalator Inspection technology and related services in order to promote our services and thereby increase our revenue.

- Act as the custodian of all QA&QC policies, processes and procedure manual, so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Contribute to cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.
- Update knowledge of company policies and procedures through company website.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to quality management system in all provided services to meet client's requirement and assure their satisfaction.
- Recommend to improvements/changes to systems and processes within the function, based on the market and industry trends.
- Share ideas and viewpoints to further streamline processes, thus driving efficiency and improvements across the organization.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSE):
- Adhere to all relevant QHSE procedures, instructions and controls so that TAQA provides a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.
- Attend daily safety Tool Box meeting.
- Wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) all the time while working in compliance with the HSE Policy of the Company.
- Write Positive &Dangerous Feedback (PDF) to avoid accidents and also to minimize damage to the environment you are working.
- Report all defects and events including substandard act or condition, which may affect HSE Control.
- Perform work in a safe manner and refrain from unsafe practices and comply with Risk assessment procedural requirement.
- Participate positively in safety meeting and propose suggestions to improve safety.
- Actively support and co-ordinate in QHSE matters.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across one's scope of work in order to achieve the Group's mission, vision and strategy.
- Initiative and ambition to improve knowledge in Elevator & Escalator Inspection Standards, Procedures, Specification and requirements and seek advice from the Elevator & Escalator Inspection Supervisor and/or Elevator & Escalator Technical reviewer .

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education / Qualifications
- Required: Degree in Science/Diploma in Engg., Preferably Engineering Degree in Mechanical
Certifications:
- Required: Recognized Training certificate for Elevators/Escalators
LEEA Part 1 (Foundation)+ LEEA LEG
- Valid Aramco CIU certification Card for elevators/Escalators
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Elevator and Escalator Inspection
