Position Overview:

ALEC Building is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Engineer to join our project team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems on-site, ensuring seamless integration with other building services and adherence to project specifications. Experience working on large-scale or high-rise building projects with main contractors in the UAE is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the design, installation, and commissioning of ELV systems including (but not limited to):

CCTV

Access Control

Fire Alarm

Public Address & Voice Evacuation

Structured Cabling / Data & Voice Systems

Building Management Systems (BMS)

IPTV & MATV Systems

• Review and validate ELV design documents, drawings, and material submittals for compliance with specifications and local authority regulations.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring timely execution of ELV works as per approved drawings and schedules.
• Liaise with consultants, client representatives, and local authorities (Civil Defense, etc.) for approvals and inspections.
• Ensure coordination of ELV systems with other MEP services and architectural/structural elements.
• Oversee site installations, conduct inspections, and manage quality control for ELV works.
• Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover of all ELV systems.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and prepare technical reports and progress updates.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Prior experience working with a main contractor on high-rise or large-scale building projects is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of UAE local authority requirements (especially Civil Defense).
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems, their integration, and coordination with other MEP services.
• Familiarity with design software and tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Project.
