- Role Summary :
The ELV Presales Engineer supports the sales team by designing and proposing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) solutions for buildings and infrastructure projects. The role involves analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, and developing system designs for security, communication, and smart building systems.
- Key Responsibilities :
Design ELV solutions including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA/VA, Structured Cabling, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, system architecture diagrams, and compliance documents.
Support the sales team in client meetings, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
Review project specifications and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with vendors such as Hikvision, Bosch, Honeywell, and Axis Communications for product selection and pricing.
- Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
37 years experience in ELV systems design or presales.
Strong knowledge of security systems, networking basics, and smart building technologies.
- Preferred Certifications :
Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM)
BICSI RCDD Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Skills
ELV system design and integration
Technical proposal preparation
Customer presentation and solution consulting
Vendor coordination and project estimation
