ELV / SAS Inspector Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections for installation of ELV and Security systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor installation of systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Intrusion Detection, and other ELV/SAS systems.
- Verify that materials delivered to site meet approved material submittals and project standards.
- Review and inspect contractor work, installation methods, and testing procedures.
- Identify non-conformance issues and report them to the project engineer or project manager.
- Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and authority requirements.
- Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities for ELV systems.
- Prepare inspection reports, site observation reports, and daily progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards on site.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 510 years of experience in ELV/Security systems inspection or supervision.
- Experience in large-scale building, infrastructure, commercial, or airport projects is preferred.
